Comment: Took the approach up the slabs to the short easy 5th class moves mentioned on Doug Scott's page. The sandstone has so much character on the left side of the gully, I wouldn't miss it(though this might spook beginners a bit). The rabbit holes and chimney downclimb were the main attraction, but they are easy to miss. We weren't looking at the beta and you could miss all 3 of them if unobservant. The rabbit holes are not nearly as tight as they look I(6'5" 195 lbs) made it through without any trouble. tree at the last rap is a good place for a fiddlestick.

Comment: There are several additional rappel anchors now. We did 7 total rappels although several could be avoided if you were determined.

Comment: Cut out a bunch of webbing (there were 3 strands at every rappel). Somehow missed the painted arch! Beautiful sandstone formations everywhere though. Plenty of bomber natural anchors. We took the difficult route up to the top of the Mesa which involved some class 4 scrambling with a little class 5 to get up a crack in the cliff band at the top. A fun canyon.
