Comments: River was low and easy to walk in; lots of great sandy campsites available (we camped near Poverty Wash). Downclimbed the center of the rock obstacle into waist deep water. Explored the bottom sections of Mineral Gulch and Fat Man's Misery, and hiked downstream of Fat Man's to the large rockfall blocking the river before exiting. The section downstream of Fat Man's is especially nice. Exit hike was very hot (not surprising, since it was Zion in July).

Comment: Time reflects an out-and-back from the head of Parunuweap Canyon (high clearance 4x4 parking beyond Bay Bill Canyon) down to Labyrinth Falls. Explored a few side canyons and camped just below Poverty Wash. Springs are more abundant below Poverty. A bit warm at night but air and water temps during the hike were pleasant. Saw six snakes.
