Comments: Very long and challenging day. With no beta available (before we posted ours), there was little information to prepare us for a very long day.
Recommend good high ankle hiking shoes (as you’ll have plenty of opportunities to roll them), long pants and sleeves to navigate the poison ivy in the lower portion of the canyon, and plenty of water, electrolytes, and food for a very long day.
