Comments: Time is for establishing the route, building anchors, and pioneering the exit. We attempted the route a week prior and had to bail and return due to conditions. The flow on this run was moderate and felt safe. High flow the week prior would have been difficult to negotiate. Anchors new and in good condition.

Comment: 2.5 star. I don't shortleeve every canyon, but when i do, its apparently on the worst ones.

The two red kml descent sections are really pretty and sweet. Had trouble finding the first bolt, beta update reflected. Downclimbed the noted dowbclimbs in the beta, also was able to avoid the only potentially unavoidable pool thanks to traversing to a fixed line mid pool. Without that, I'd have turned around or swum.

The exit was pretty brushy. Not terrible, but not my favorite point in the day. No catclaw, but many manzanita and scrub oak.

Comment: Short and sweet, this route offered a unique narrows section cutting through the blocky stone. Flow will provide the best value, however during our initial investigation at higher flow, we did notice a hydraulic forming below one of the downclimbs. Once finished, take the opportunity to soak in the beauty of isolation canyon before exiting.
