Comment: We had a fun day descending Pombeiro! The weather was sunny and warm, and the water was generally warm. The canyon has several fun rappels and short jumps. We combined a few of the shorter rappels because we had long ropes. There is a constriction about midway that had the highest flow and was the most fun section of Pombeiro. The canyon would be much more fun in higher flow, but today the flow was low. The existing anchors were all in good condition. We exited at the bridge and the old grist mill. Some team members decided to ascend the canyon on the via ferrata and met us back at the cars afterward.
