Comments: What a fabulous canyon! Coming from America, Pontirone reminded me of a slot canyon you would see in Zion paired with the cleanest and clearest flowing water I have ever seen. The first abseil feels like you are in a paradise world. Water surrounds you as you descend 165 feet. I should also mention that the canyon granite was extremely grippy all throughout the canyon. At this time, the algae was not blooming at all and we all had sure footing even on what seemed to be 20 to 25 degree inclines. Make sure to take goggles with you to see the fish and the bottoms of all the pools below you and enjoy this excellent canyon. Huge thanks to Fernando from Swiss River Adventures for leading us down this canyon safely. Highly recommend this company.
