Comment: Canyon has a fun mix of features: pools, scrambling/climbing, hikes, slots, arches, and nice rappels. The hiking parts are rather lengthy but not terrible. The pool underneath the arch was full. We are unsure of depth as we bypassed the rappel and downclimbed the fin to save time. The pair of potholes where the path takes a sharp right and the red technical section begins were also full but bypassable by scrambling along the slope DCR. The slot section had one an unavoidable waist-deep pool followed by another deep pool that could be bypassed DCR. It would be possible under current conditions to keep packs dry by carrying them over your head or passing, if you care about that. The landing site under the final rappel is slippery. From there you can follow the creekbed or 4x4 road back to the start.

Comment: Canyon was in good condition with new 4" black webbing on the tree rapping into Pool Arch. The pool was mid-thigh for a person of average height and there was ankle deep water in a couple sections in the canyon. Did one stem across a water section. Water was not very cold. There was no 'upper anchors' on the last rappel but a single bolt to the two bolt anchor on the lip which was a little intimidating. Multiple free hanging rappels gives a lot of excitement. Existing trail / foot path throughout the canyon shows regular use. Stay on trail and be careful of the cryptobiotic soil all throughout the approach.
