Comments: Red Hollow made for a fun chill Sunday of canyoneering. It was the first time any of our group had descended Red Hollow and aside from the initial 300 footer we weren't quite sure what to expect. There were enough fun rappels and downclimbs to keep us entertained. Not a classic, but definitely a good time.

Comment: We were in the area with one vehicle and a bit of time to kill before our drive back to AZ so we decided to rappel and ascend the 290’ rap. Rigged 2 lines off the main tree and bounced it. Very pretty free hang, we each used 3 pieces of rope protection on the initial 20’ wall since we were ascending and there were a few small edges. The rest of the slot canyon was out of view a ways down the wash from the big drop and we didnt have time to check it out. Webbing on big drop looks fairly new.

Comment: The canyon is in great shape. We re-built two of the anchors. We built a dead man rock pile just below the fluted, twisty drop (4th rappel) for the down climb. The big loose rock (250 pounds at least) teetering on the ledge of the 200 foot wall rappel LDC is no longer there (Whew!!). There still is a lot of loose stuff up on that ledge. We removed our anchor from the 200 foot rappel.
