Comments: Descended Alt-Rock to main Rock. The massive ramp of Ski Jump Falls is pretty unique and Rock itself would get run all the time if access was easier. The 2mi creek-walk out is relatively easy with numerous gravel bars and areas of bedrock, plus a few obstacles to keep things interesting. Follow the path of least resistance to the PCT footbridge. Ran into a PCT trail crew at the lower trailhead who fed us snacks. One tick found.

Comment: Descended Alt-Rock and dropped into the main technical section. Flow low in Alt-Rock, moderate in main Rock. All anchors replaced - would be lovely to find a way to stay in the flow on pitch 2 of Ski Jump Falls. Water in main Rock is much higher, but easy to find lines out of the flow. Don't let the 2mi hike out scare you, much of the hiking is on gravel bars and bedrock areas. Takes about 2hrs to reach the PCT from the bottom of the last rappel.

Comment: No other signs of anchors were found, so this was likely a first descent of the Alt-Rock tributary of Rock Creek. Ski Jump Falls must be super impressive in higher water. This tributary drops right in above the main technical section of Rock Creek and is an easier approach than the original one described for Rock Creek.
