Comment: We started from carpark at 11am. Nice canyon with mid-low water flow.
P5 anchor close to the water is corroded. Use high flow anchor up on wall instead. P7 anchor got hit. one of the bolts is bent (still strong)

Comment: Started around 11am. I dropped in a few hundred metres above Coachwood falls to enjoy an extra waterfall and short constriction. Joined Mum and Dad at Coachwood. You can easily bypass the falls and we let an excited lady abseil with us (i belayed from the half way point, Jimmy from the bottom. The lasy then walked the harness up for Mum.
Quite a lot of creek walking followed with some downclimbs, swims and a few short narrow sections. Even after another waterfall abseil i was getting a bit bored and worried the ck was a bit of a dud. But soon (after a waterfall where our rope was too short and i pulled up a biner block when i was part way down) we reached a spectacular series of pitches down through a chasm. It was quite dark and we enjoyed the sun and lunch on the ledge above Red Cedar Falls. The sun was pretty strong and i soon dropped down the first pitch of Red Cedar. Our 50m rope made it here, but a 60m rope would have been nice to avoid a slippery downclimb. After the final (longest) pitch i found the exit track CR. There actually looks like several more drops downstream and im sure someone has explored them. Unfortunately we didn't have time... Up the switchbacks we went and gained the old logging rd back to the car park. It was almost dark when we got back. 8.5hrs car to car.
