Comments: Fun day out with two absolute beginners, taking our time to photograph cute lil snakes. I was a bit confused when we got to Pitch 5, which isn't in the description or on the topo. Does anyone know if you can exit from the bottom of this pitch? Nevertheless, we exited after Pitch 4 to avoid time-wasting. I'm no stranger to arduous walkouts, but the incline of the scramble out, combined with many thorny vines, made the trip unfriendly for beginners. I'm glad I did it, but I wouldn't recommend it. Also, there was at least one unavoidable swim so not sure about the comment that you can avoid getting more than your ankles wet in low flow (maybe in drought conditions?).

Comment: Higher flow in the wake of Cyclone Alfred. The bolts for the second pitch (45m) were unable to be located, but the pieces (they said it looked as if debris had snapped it all out of the rock) of it was later found by other members of my party whilst I went down the pitch. Tree on CL was a good substitute. 3rd anchor was fully submerged by the flow, but otherwise the remaining anchors were undamaged. Road in had trees across it in the last hundred meters or so.
