Comments: Took horses from Juntas just along the flat initial 30 minutes, just past the farm where you pay 5,000 COP each for entry (you can give farm owner a heads up to know you will be there requesting access: Marcos +57 322 7604902). Decent trail climbing up. 3/4 the way up dont get suckered onto a right switchback on your good trail. You actually go left/straight onto a trail with fun stinging nettle. MAKE SURE you packed a machete and ideally sharpening stone: from the top you will have 90 minutes of intense machete bushwack through thick jungle. Fortunately this canyon is worth it. We had 200 feet of webbing and glad we did. Placed half natural and half bolt anchors. No previous anchors existed from prior parties. The 2nd to last rap is 3 stage and can be done with 2 60s and pulls easy. Super fun raps.
