Comment: Fun high stemming and minor silo crossing. Too bad it isn't longer!

Comment: Sawtooth Canyon 3A passes through incredible and colorful rock formations. Early in the canyon, several large potholes were full of water, with at least one swimmer, but they were easily avoided. Later we downclimbed about 20 feet into a large pothole before realizing the next section of the canyon was very narrow. I told the other group members to stay high to avoid the narrows. The exit hike was beautiful as the sunset faded away into deep blues.

Comment: Fun potholes, great stemming and fun downclimbing. Water at bottom of last rap(optional), avoidable.

Comment: A nice short one to end the day on. Don't underestimate the stemming difficulty or the potholes.
