Comments: Route makes a great option for an easy overnight along the river. Easy walking down the drainage to the point where the canyon narrows, we downclimbed through the rabbit hole and rappelled the rest of this downclimb as we had overnight packs. There is a large limestone arch that works well to handline or rappel this feature. The actual drop has two bolts on DCR, we linked both of these with knots for ascension on day two. The pool below this drop can be bypassed with a narrow shimmy on DCL. From there navigate the boulders to the beach. There are great camping options along that whole beach, rafters may occupy the camp on the downstream end but it seems like good options exist above. Ascent out was aided by rigging a 3:1 to raise overnight packs instead of ascending with them. Finish your adventure with desert sweet sauce wings from Cliff Dwellers Lodge down the road.

Comment: Several pools, most avoidable with climbing and crawling along shelves. Some deep, knee+ depth sand just prior to the rappel. Large pool at the base of the rappel was avoidable, but another further down canyon would have been a mandatory deep wade or possibly a swim. Ascended out. One notably tricky up-climb where some may require a partner assist.
