Comments: Good day out with CR rondy. Fun canyon! All anchors in good condition currently. Waist deep water at the rappel following the 270' drop.

Comment: We stuck our pull cord and rappel rope on the chalk stone 80’ up from bottom of rappel. Had to chimney climb up to retrieve, and then descended with wedging myself down. Unprotected from a fall made it sketchy, but seemed fairly secure. With R+ canyon skills anyone would feel comfortable accomplishing this. Be prepared as the type migrates towards the stone. We fiddled, but it might be safe with pulling the entire route through the anchor. Would appear everyone does it this way because there are significant rope grooves developing.
Deadman anchor webbing is beginning to show signs of wear, may recommend replacing in the near future. Cold water, but only one pool waist deep. no wetsuit needed.
