Comments: Added to rappels to the canyon by dropping in around 3,400. There’s many more downclimbs, some easy, some advanced. Be sure to wait for folks. Flows were much less than the FD of the lower section. The last sequence has a wild downclimb to the bolt station due to a tree ripping over right at the old station. First person down needs to be belayed to the station.

Comment: This is one great rappel. Literally. Other than the 120' falls rappel, there is nothing of value to a canyoneer. The water is opaque making it essentially impossible to check for jumps or slides. It is a great rappel, rappeler's choice whether to get momentarily wet or stay entirely out of the flow. How many stars does a 1 rappel canyon get?

Comment: A fantastic day spent exploring this new canyon with an awesome crew. Dropped in to find high flows and silty glacier water, which we were initially unsure if a descent could be made at these levels. We left the drop-in ropes rigged for several hours while we scouted the final sequence for viable rappel lines out of the water course. Ultimately this was possible and it ended up being a very enjoyable sequence even at high flows. Not to mention it is just a very beautiful place. Approach and exit through mostly open forest was great. Short and sweet route, great bang for your buck. Looking forward to checking out the upper sections in the future.
