Comments: Did not wear wetsuits, which was a big mistake. This canyon has unavoidable pools and long swims all the time, as well as Tonto Creek. Would definitely recommend wetsuit at least 3mm maybe even 5mm. Did upper narrows, which were nice but probably not worth adding on to an already long day. One in group was able to stay dry in upper, other did a long swim. Upper is slow going if trying to find ways to stay out of pools. Completed canyon doing just 2 rappels, 100' and 25'. 5 hours approach including upper narrows, 1 hour technical section to Tonto Creek. 3 hours exit. Gun Creek gauge was 3.16 cfs.
