Comments: Let me say this, it'd be damn near impossible to get wet anywhere above the calf for even the shortest canyoneer. Unless you lay down, that'd do it.

Ankle deep water, nobody here who says they avoided water had to work very hard, though keeping your feet dry when the canyon holds water would involve bypassing the rappels. Speaking of, most all raps are bypassable but not necessarily downclimbable. Bring webbing and hardware, as things seem to wash out for the lower rappels (i.e. absolutely no chance you downclimb R3, but feasible bypass high LDC).

Very fun technical section with an easy approach, the exit gets tiring with a continued need to routefind and search feasible downclimbgs in the wide, boulder ridden drainage. If you want more rappels, there are drops for them too. If you are prepared for the long downclimb exit and want to avoid water, give this canyon a go!

Comment: We got through with a 145’ rope. Toggled R1 to keep the pull clean. Raps are short, but the geology and little slit part are fun. Definitely would be more interesting with some flow (it was almost completely dry).

Comment: Did 5 rappels with a 200ft rope: 60ft, 20ft, 20ft, 50ft, 70ft. Found 3 anchors intact but replaced webbing on the final rappel. Lots of pools and a little flow but was able to avoid getting wet above the ankles.
