Comments: Did Sombrio and some upper sections today! Super fun day out with an amazing crew.we moved very fast through the entire canyon. Our time for the section on Ropewiki was 2.5 hours but our team loves jumping.
This area is definitely a good spot to go to for people who love jumps. Our entire team besides one person sent 'jumpable' the 15m jump.

Comment: This was a great canyon! We ran it July 16, 2023.
We are a very efficient party of two. Since the first comment, clearly someone has been taking care of this canyon (thank you!) All bolts were in good shape and some major replacements. One big difference from the description was; there are 3 more rappels at the end of the jump(s) portion of the description. Nothing longer than 20 metres. We used a 70 metre rope. We walked up from Sombrio day use parking. The walk took us 45 mins and we entered the trees right before the bridge, there is a trail that leads you down by the bridge as described. Sombrio creek II bridge. This is a beautiful canyon. Great location and easy access. We loved it! | |||||||
