Comments: Fun route for a mild winter day. One low-angle slide, 2 rappels can be in flow, rappeller choice, a couple small downclimbs and a mining cave. A redirect on Sweeney Falls would be nice to enable the rappeller to stay in the gut of the flow and avoid a pendulum. The approach is almost entirely on a newly made logging road that takes you to a ravine and easy walk in. Water was not very cold. Dry suit was nice but not necessary.

Comment: Obtained permission from local landowners who even gave us a shuttle ride up to the top. Walked in on new trail and descended from there. A redirect on R2 would be good to stay in the water. Lots of scary cave-crickets in the mine tunnel. They're probably harmless, but check your neck for bite marks. :-)

Comment: Fun little canyon. I missed the 2nd overgrown road and ended up cliffed out a bit above the creek, but I just kept heading left like the directions said and I ended up back on course. Not the wettest canyon, but enough to keep cool on a warm day.
