Comments: No anchors or signs of previous passage were found, so this may have been a first descent. A couple of nice falls/sequences, but have to knock off a bunch of points for all the fallen trees (some of them ancient) in Steel Creek. Just about every drop had some evidence of vegetative destruction; would bump up to a three star if it ever blows out. There are much better canyon destinations in the Skykomish River Valley. Excess wood in some of the drops makes the canyon less safe than it should be.
