Comments: I made a YouTube vid for this run and is on the media area of the page. 1st off, the approach is LONG! A very long walk with a lot of elevation. The road can be passed by a motorcycle like I did however other vehicles would need someone clearing the large rocks in order to pass the rock slide area. if you could leave a shuttle vehicle at the bottom, it would save you at least 1 hr of walking. The 1st rappel has webbing that had some damage to it around a huge log, I didn't use it since I wasn't sure how old it was and I didn't want to be the one falling on a giant rock at the bottom. R1 is def the highlight of this creek so spend some time there...also I dropped a ATC in the pool below if anyone finds it...you're welcome! I only had to rappel one other drop, everything else could be DC'd due to the low flow. This canyon is really nice looking and in higherflow would offer many smaller scale raps. If this isn't to far from you, its worth a look!! The exit is great/quick compared to the approach!!! With all the other treks in the area, I can see why this one gets skipped but I think it's worth seeing at least one time.

Comment: No sign of previous visitors, so guessing this was a first descent. Quite a few nice falls (usually in the 20-30ft range), some lovely bedrock to walk on, and interesting rock formations. Some of the pools look like they'd be nice swimmers on a hot day. Would be nice to visit with a bit more water. Be sure to check out the really cool cave at the bottom.
