Comments: As long as you stay on route, the exit hike is not that bad, though it is brushy and navigation can be a challenge. There are far, far more difficult exit hikes in Arizona.

Comment: A fun beautiful remote route with picturesque corridors and sections of slot interspaced between old lush forest! I love how this area blends in some red rock from Sedona with the lush green slots of other Edge of the World canyons. Lots to see in this route. We replaced webbing on a few anchors that needed it. Water up to chest deep in a few spots but not too cold. Exit is long but beautiful with some fun obstacles to tackle as you go! The end is a slog but not terrible. Thorn patches before last saddle are avoidable by scrambling up to loose slope on the left and traversing around them. A very worthwhile adventure!

Comment: Very cool hidden gem! Multiple nice curvy slot sections with waist deep pools and a few short swims with forested walks in between. I wore a loose fitting 3mm and was fine. The exit is very long but a pretty hike. Mostly brush free except for the end of the final drainage. That’s where it gets really thick with thorny blackberry vines, pretty terrible, definitely wear pants, long sleeves and hell, break out the welding gloves to claw your way though! Despite that terrible part of the exit, its a very pretty and worthwhile canyon for the Secret Mtn area!

Comment: Fall colors and a wet monsoon season made this one a true gem!
The kml track and written beta are spot on. We had no issues issues with the exit, and actually really enjoyed it. The last little bit is a slog, but route finding was not difficult. Took it slow.. didn't want to leave. Log has washed away from one of the last potholes making it an un-avoidable swimmer. Anchors good.
