Comments: Since Cascade Creek was running extreme, we chose to scope out a line following Tamarack DCL all the way down which connects to my original full run of Cascade Creek. This was nice, because we got into a lot of heavy spray and some waterflow, but nothing that really warranted a class C designation. The BIG special challenge was replacing the old anchor in the corner for the 280 foot rappel (2 chock-stones and a knot block) with a new bolted anchor with a much better pull line. I had a shortie wetsuit and rain jacket, but with all the heavy spray and clouds blocking the Sun I got cold drilling and installing the 2 bolts. I climbed back up to the previous anchor (R3) and let my partner go down and off the new bolts first, so I could warm back up. On the way down, I recovered the old webbing around the horn 200 feet down from the first full run of Cascade done about 2 years ago.
