Comments: Never put my harness on though I did use a handline to get down a little drop between boulders. This was at the big drop where I found somewhat crispy webbing around a tree canyon center but didn't use it. It's a pretty area but not really much for the canyoneer. The alt exit is long, brushy in places and on steeply angled and unstable ground. I.e. annoying.

Comment: Combined with Lower Tortilla and Peter's Cave, starting at Tortilla TH and ending at Tortilla Flat. Didn't need ropes or technical gear (will be updating rating from 3A to 2A). The first thought-provoking obstacle had a fixed handline in place on canyon right. Multiple deep pools which were easily avoided. Minimal brush in the middle section...but lower Tortilla was another story entirely.
