Comments: Water in the canyon was flowing lightly, was surprisingly cold, wading to waist deep. Staying completely dry was not possible. Was able to climb around all the big pools to avoid swimming, the last bypass is the only real difficult one with a class 4 scramble. Water levels are probably uncharacteristically high. Hiked to big alcove near the end of the canyon on day one; 12.4 miles in 8.5 hours. Finished day two via whiskey spring and dutchman trails 7.7 miles in 6 hours.
