Comments: Canyon clearly hadn't been run in a while. Replaced multiple anchors. Low to moderate flow, horrible bushwhack out. Of note: many of the rappells we opted for retreivable (ghosting) techniques, due to the National Park, and almost all raps being out of the flow. This should be the standard for canyons in the Park.

Comment: Ran this the last 2 weeks, once for rondy and this week with friends. Anchors were rebuilt during the rondy. I took notes and updated the beta. Nothing abnormal to note that's not in the beta.

Comment: Took the short cut route to get into the creek. Nice mossy place below the confluence makes a good place to suit up. Quite good flow still in early August, so need to be on your game... particularly on the first few falls. Found anchors on some drops but not on others which was a bit puzzling. Replaced a few at a couple points. Rumbling of distant thunder late in the afternoon towards the bottom of the creek. Deemed best approach was to continue down and exit via Wonderland Trail. Some really beautiful waterfalls and ripe berries for eating. Good day out!

Comment: A great canyon with many rappels and a view of Mt. Rainier! For the berry lover, there are berries (huckleberries, blackberries, blueberries, thimble berries, and salmon berries) that mostly line the entire length of the canyon. We would have appreciated more flow but it was still fun and a laid back day. We descended the last drop of Unicorn Creek. Even with the low water flow this year, Stevens Creek is still running high and caution still should be taken.
