Comments: This canyon usually sees a lot of water but using the route established, this canyon can be done as most rappels skirt along the side of the waterfall (or have the option of choosing a lower flow route). The rock is very crumbly so bolting is not a good option. It would be nice to rappel in the water course but maybe we'll save that for another time :)

Comment: We ran this the morning of the Eagle Creek fire, so I am sure the conditions will be very different after. The anchor situation is this canyon is VERY unstable. The last waterfall has only one rock that is secure on dcr 30 feet back from the lip that can be used to descend. Everything else is moving. The penultimate fall anchor is off a log which puts you wither dcl (the obvious choice, but a very bad one) or dcr (the dry side, but initially under the waterfall). Be very aware font to descend the moss on either side of the last waterfall, do what you have to to stay in the water and maintain the pristine greenery.
