Comments: Drove up the night before and camped at Lost Burro Mine which had some cool tunnels to explore. On Saturday morning we drove over to the canyon. Approach was steep and at times loose but fun and adventurous especially in the upper reaches; took 2:50. After a short descent we reached the money rap, the Wall of Fear itself, which had a highly exposed rock chock anchor. On the pull, the rope caught in some tiny crevice as the end whipped through the anchor. I'm not sure exactly what went wrong as the pull didn't look from above like it would be difficult. Three of us hauling from various angles couldn't dislodge it, so we had to leave it. Some nice canyon booty up for grabs if anyone else comes through here soon. After a long non-technical section, we reached the lower canyon which contained another four rappels including a tight slot and many interesting downclimbs within beautiful sculpted rocks. Anchors were in moderate condition except for R5 which we placed webbing at. The descent took 3:20 in total and then 0:25 to cross the desert back to the vehicles.
