Comments: The actual time was 4.5 hours. I enjoyed exploring this new canyon. The last rap, a nice 100 footer, will take you under a chock stone and into a grotto. There are some loose rocks on the wall in the top section of the last rap. If someone is at the bottom of the rap they will be right in the fall zone and they can't see you coming down. Call out for any rocks that may come loose. A 100' rope will stop a few feet short of the bottom, but it's easily down climbable. If you want to exit Big Horn Canyon, rather than the Class 2 exit shown, get off rope on a small ledge that is about 10 feet short of the bottom of the last rap and traverse out RDC. That will take you over and into Big Horn. A small palm tree will mark the start of the traverse. If you choose to use the Class 2 exit, go to the end of the rap and follow the wall LDC until you come to a class 3 climb out. Go up the wall here and start the exit route. Enjoy!
