Comments: We took a different approach to Wet Beaver from the south. The canyon is spectacular. It was great to explore the upper part without relying on any beta

Comment: Time reflects a through-trip starting up by Apache Maid and accessing Wet Beaver via Waldroup Canyon. Encountered a black bear about 6 miles in. Lots of swimming. Water was warm and algae-covered rock was incredibly slick. Temps were 100+ degrees. Didn't see anyone until The Crack.
