Comment: There were some shallow pools scattered throughout the canyon, though the water could easily be avoided. Highlights were the short narrow section of white rock (from which the canyon must acquire its name) and one fairly large pool that was fed by a small waterfall which has carved a thin, smooth chute in the rock. We went about 1.3 miles up canyon before turning around and heading back the way we came. Though mostly dry and completely nontechnical, I enjoyed this canyon for the scenery and seclusion and will likely be returning.

Great
