Comments: Really pretty slot... but way too short for all the effort! It's really just one rappel, a quick swim, and then wading down a s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g slot. The whole 'canyon' (more of a route) is only 100 meters long or so. Anyways, the waterfall is easily avoidable, and there are zero hydraulic hazards. We rigged a rappel on canyon left, about 50 feet, into a deep pool at the base of the falls. Of note, it is WAY easier to approach from the Iceberg Lake Trail (700 feet of very easy downhill bushwhacking) than from the Continental Divide Trail (0.75 mile of thick bushwhacking). Plenty of grizzlies in this valley... be alert!

Comment: We did this canyon in loop with Ptarmigan. It is quite the canyon. It only has one rappel and one jump, but the narrows are about 90 feet high and made of red quartz. Very cool, and a bit ominous!
