Comment: Fun little morning run with the wifey. Cleaned out some brush. We did 3 short rappels, less than 50'. The crack climb is the way to go! Just enough fun stuff to make the route worth doing. Quick and easy.

Comment: Solo'd this beautiful short canyon during sunset. Took the crack climbing approach. Will bring back the kids to climb the crack approach with some assistance. Webbing was ok on R1 and R2. R1 gets sun so it'll need to be replaced sooner. Never found R3 so I down climbed RDC. If I don't find R3 when I bring the kids back, I'll have the kids rap down some of the harder down climbs. Quite a bit of bushwacking after R2 through most of the exit until it opens up. Easy to navigate the exit. Overall a fun canyon especially if you're short on time.

Comment: Fun, 1 mile approach with two short 5th class sections, one in our party had a massive fear of heights and needed a handline on the second 5th class section but got up smoothly once she had one. Not req’d for anyone w 5th class experience/no fear of heights
First rap super clean, steps slowly off the edge. Second rap is a bit awkward at the start, but easy enough. Very short, small free-hanging section. Once you’re off-rope there is a short easy down climb, then a bunch of bushwacking and a VERY tight rabbit hole to pass through which was fun. It’s passable to go around but would require some bushwhacking! Overall easy canyon for beginners & short enough to do after a work day (2ish hours) | |||||||

Comment: First known descent with EMoorcroft. Cleaned out some loose rock from the approach gully and a bit of brush throughout the canyon. Canyon is still brushy (main driver of given quality rating), recommend long sleeves. Rappels are decent. No issues on the pulls. Some fun downclimbs kept things interesting. Well-preserved rock art on exit - please keep it that way! A small, fast-moving group could knock this one out in 2 hours.

Comment: Fun approach to a scenic slab with 360° views. R1 over mini cave was cool. The unroped sections were interactive with fun downclimbs, brushy navigation, rabbit hole tunnel, mini bouldering section, and epic petroglpyhs. Maybe not the biggest bang for your buck in sedona canyoneering, but definitely worth the little effort for a great adventure.
conditions of anchors are superb, short drops with easy pulls.
