Comments: Went through the route around 10am and there was a decent amount of traffic. One large group was doing an overhand rappel directly into the canyon outside normal bolts that we passed when going the normal way and ran into 2 other groups afterwards. Everyone managed to stay out of each other's way however. Last stem required getting into ankle deep water, otherwise no required water.

Comment: Led 16 others through this canyon, which included 12 kids. Same conditions as my last report.
Bypassed first two rappels due to another large group of beginners getting there just a few minutes before us. Took the 'secondary' approach again. This was the lone rappel we completed. Adults worked together to pass the younger kids down the downclimbs. Kids had a blast. Adults carried kids across the knee high wade towards the end of the canyon. Water was cold but non-problematic.

Comment: Wife and I ran this canyon to gain insight into conditions prior to taking a much larger group through it. Tried out the 'secondary' approach. Fun down climbs and ~40' rappel into the main canyon. Only did that single rappel, DC'ed the rest of the canyon. One pool of water that was hard to avoid, towards the end. Beautiful canyon with easy approach and exit.

Comment: Canyon was surprisingly dry with very little mud. There were two pools of water. The first was easily avoidable. The second can be stemmed across. Anchors were in great shape. Great canyon close to home!!

Comment: Beautiful canyon with lots of water and mud. expect to wade through waist high water, my 9 year old (this was his first canyon ever) had to swim in a few spots. Anchors were in great shape. water felt good. even the kids were having a good time!

Comment: No water in the canyon. Saw a guided group hiking out right before we left the car at 3 pm, otherwise we saw no one else in the canyon.
It took us 1.5 hours as we were taking it quite slow and reviewing how to rappel. We ended up doing about 4 rappels for practice.

Comment: Very little standing water at the end of the canyon. Biggest hold up was the number of large groups in the canyon.

Comment: Took some beginners in there and let them rig just about all the raps, even the ones that could be down-climbed so that they could gain experience. It was a little chilly but beautiful.

Comment: Lots of people in the canyon. This is a guided route, so expect SLOW groups. Only one mandatory rap at the entrance. We downclimbed the rest. Best days to go to avoid the crowds are Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. A fun canyon to partner with Boltergeist.

Comment: Nice beginner friendly canyon. No water. All potholes were easily passed. All anchors were in good shape.

Comment: Our group of 3 went LDC past the initial 30ft anchor to another anchor dropping over a ledge, just around 100ft. A group of 6 behind us climbed down and asked if they could join, as they had forgotten a rope and we let them use ours. There were several easy downclimbs, only two places where a handline was needed by any member. No water at all in any pothole or in the canyon. The last pothole was bypassed climbing up to the left and sliding around it. The hike out was extremely exposed and hot, would recommend starting earlier than 9am. Overall, the longer first rappel made the beginning worth it but not the entire canyon.
