Comments: We descended the Lower Falls after descending Middle Earth (see other trip report there). This is a very worthwhile addition to Middle Earth. Despite having a 450’ rope, we broke the sequence up into two drops, re-rigging from the “Frog Pond” anchor. I suspect there are potential for ropes to fall into the crack behind the Frog Pond so it makes sense to break the drop up just in case. A very stellar way to finish Middle Earth, unfortunate there are so many people below.

Comment: Waterflow was just enough to get some spray about half way down (see pic). We were still in wetsuits from running Middle Earth, but not needed since the pool at the bottom was in the 60's F.
