Introduction
A short route with a pack-raft at the end, the redeeming feature. It is advisable to check the water level in the Big Tujunga reservoir before descending as the water levels vary throughout the year and year to year. The more water, the longer the pack raft. Without water at the bottom of the last rappel this route would not be nearly as fun. There are various points along the highway to check this out.
Approach
The drop-in is right next to where you park.
Descent
Drop-in around 34.29707,-118.17773. Which is pretty close to where you parked your car. It starts off brushy & steep but the further you go down the more the canyon takes form. We stayed on the DCR side
Exit
Red tape
Review the boundaries and rules for the Big Tujunga reservoir before attempting this canyon.
