Introduction[edit]

Approach[edit]

From Daisy Plains hut, drive down Mines Road, cross Felters Creek and park just after (marked as Middle Creek on the map but in reality there is no creek there).

Short walk to Felters Creek just above the falls, small bit of scrambling to get down to the creek, very short and easy section of creek walking to the top of the falls.

Descent[edit]

Clouds Creek
Rap M L/R Description
R1 30m RL sling around tree. Abseil down to the RL around the corner.
R2 30m RL set of double bolts around the corner on the wall - bit of a hanging rebelay
R3 60m RL set of double bolts just on the edge of the main flow. Cold to hang around there as it’s in the spray. Descend all the way to the bottom of the waterfall
You are now at the bottom of the waterfall - there are two more small drops just a bit down in the creek which have been bolted with monos.
R4 15m RR Down small waterfall - could probably downclimb on the left if you wanted
R5 15m RR Down another small waterfall

Exit[edit]

Small section of creek walking (around 5 minutes) and then take the first ridge that comes down on CL. Is a bit steep at first but is generally a pretty nice ridge. Follow the ridge all the way up and then there is a short walk through the bush back to the car.
