Introduction[edit]
A nice side canyon to parunuweap. Often used as an exit to the south side. The riparian section is very nice.
Lightly-flowing spring water results in the navigation of shallow pools and mud. There are no swims, and any water above knee depth is typically quite easily avoided. Hence the “A” water rating.
Approach[edit]
Descend from the parking area along a well used trail to a large slickrock section. Continue following the ridge to the east of French Canyon. Downclimb a steep, sandy gully to the canyon floor and use caution navigating loose rock.
Descent[edit]
One or two exposed obstacles in the upper section of canyon. Some may prefer the support of a handline.
Exit[edit]
Return the way you came.
