Introduction[edit]
A short adventure from the depths of Fay Canyon up and over into Boynton Canyon.
This can be done independently as a short loop, or linked up with Haribo or Goldie Drops canyon.
Approach[edit]
Start at Fay Canyon TH and hike to the end of trail. Once arriving at the end of trail, take the wash to the right.
15 minutes of boulder hopping to the back right arm of Fay Canyon lands you at a small set of Indian ruins, and the base of Grizzly canyon.
Head Right up canyon to the start of the 4th class approach at a boulder pile.

The spicy approach to the notch lends views of Haribo and Goldie drops canyons, and is a highlight of the route.
Continue up approach canyon to R1 at the top of the notch.
Descent[edit]
R1: 20’ off small pine @ top of notch or downclimb LDC.
R2: 50' overhung.
Continue RDC to bypass cacti. Next alcove RDC.
R3: 25' off small bush backed up by cairn
R4: 60' off bush LDC, 20' back from edge.
R5: 40' off tree LDC, last 1/2 overhung.
R6: 65’ to ledge or use full 100. Set pull RDC and pull from outside crack.
Exit RDC above last ledge.
Exit[edit]
Immediately after last rapp, head up slab RDC above overhanging shelf.
Traverse ridge down to main wash.
Follow main wash hugging enchantment resort, avoid entering resort by picking up game trails to boynton canyon rd.
Be careful not to stray into the resort.
