Comments: Parked at Boynton and walked the road to Fay TH. Class IV obstacles on the approach were fun. Could be challenging for some…non-climbers may want/need a partner assist. Pretty views from the top of the approach looking back into Fay.

Downclimed R1 (no anchor was present). Route is still a little brushy in places but seems to be improving. Cleared a lot of debris between R4-R6. Anchors were solid and webbing was in fine condition. No pull issues. KML was helpful for the exit (which I imagine is more straightforward in the daylight). Ran into a marginally agitated pack of javelina by the resort.

Not an excellent canyon, but it’s a fairly scenic circuit that I’ll likely repeat. Recommended for sunset! Just make sure your headlamp batteries have some juice left in them…

Comment: fun hike up starts with a boulder problem and 2 more along the way. found the approach to be a highlight. views are good, except for enchantment resort. still pretty though. the rapps are pretty good. check anchors as something has been chewing on the webbing. worth doing, but not great.

Comment: A fun and challenging approach followed by 6 short rappels into boynton canyon.

After last rapp found it beneficial to exit above last shelf on the right and traverse ridge down to main wash. exited by hugging the enchantment resort. all anchors are new and in good condition.

Be sure to say in main canyon and not to wander too far right into the next Canyon. All anchors are present but some may be back from the edge and difficult to locate.
