Introduction[edit]

Approach[edit]

Descent[edit]

The traditional second rappel has always been described as 2-stages. The second stage now has large old tree stump permanently jammed in place that is regularly used as an anchor turning this into a 3 rap canyon. Though still skipped by many, this stump anchor has potential to cause serious rope pull issues. Be careful how you build an anchor here as an accident has occurred due to webbing releasing after being loaded incorrectly.
