"About ~175ft down the 200ft rappel, there is an added bolt on a little ledge. This is to make the pull of the 200ft rappel easier and avoid stuck rope |

Introduction[edit]
Approach[edit]
Follow the same approach as Spry canyon, turning north after dropping below the last saddle but before entering Spry. Continue past a steep and loose dirt gulley and along the drainage until it drops down into a slot. Walk just past the drainage on the left to find an easy downclimb into the slot to start the canyon.
Descent[edit]
Be mindful of your rope pulls since there are several rappels where ropes tend to get stuck. It is useful to extend the quicklinks over some edges, and this can create difficult starts. When you come to the buttress, rappel down to the top and traverse the bolts on the right side. Do not continue down the watercourse.
Exit[edit]
Follow the drainage down canyon to the edge of another grotto. Turn left and traverse the thin trail down to the floor and continue along the trail until you get to the employee access road. Walk north to get back to Zion Lodge and the shuttle back to the visitor center.
