Approach
Brennen (original West side)
Hike the Wilson Road as you would approach Eaton, but cut off (angle sharply back to the right) onto the old road bed above Henninger Flats about 1/4 miles before the T junction where you descend toward Eaton. There are 2 water tanks on the left. Follow the old road bed until it fizzles out completely a bit past 34.19492, -118.07559. Beyond that follow animal paths and a pruned path (as of MAY2019) that wanders a bit up and going past 3 small side ravines. The next bigger ravine around a buttress is a main tributary to Pasadena Glen. Traverse down into this tributary around 34.19687, -118.07135. Near this point is a short wide drop with a 9 inch log sticking straight up it. Proceed down this drop and into the main canyon which soon connects with another major tributary.
East Side
Hike the Bailey Canyon trail to the Jones Peak Saddle, then head NW on the trail 1.2 miles to shallow saddle at 34.19965, -118.0656 gaining about 3000 vertical feet total. Head North about 400 feet to 34.20057, -118.06586, then head West to a trimmed path at 34.20054, -118.06599. Head down this slope dropping 200 feet vertically before reaching the main gully which is the main canyon but higher up than Brennen drop-in. Proceeding down this gully; there are 2 rappels of approximately 100 feet before reaching the Brennen drop-in (above).
Descent
From the approach tributary it's about 400 feet down canyon to 34.19591, -118.07103 where another major tributary joins and likely has water flow in the rainy season. From there another 400 feet and you reach R1 (stair step through a pothole) in the main canyon at 34.19521, -118.07153 rigged from a tree DCR well back from the drop. About 200 feet further and you reach a series of rappels and the sharp bend to the left that Brennen mentions in his beta. These rappels are easy to rig and the open area Brennen mentioned is full of fresh rockfall (as of May 2019) and thus offers plenty of anchor building material. The last rappel in this series is off a tree DCR on an exposed ledge which drops to a large flat pool (gravel bed May 2019).

NOTE: As of May 25th 2019 all the old webbing anchors were removed, because all of them were much too old to be safe anymore. The whole canyon can be done easily using basic ghosting techniques. So, either descend with FiddleStick (or similar) in hand, or take 120 feet of webbing and a dozen quick links.
