Introduction[edit]
Penrose Gully canyon (a.k.a. Crooked Crevice canyon) is famous for it's narrowness. It is quite short (maybe only 50m long) but its narrowness makes it an interesting little challenge. It is a good winter canyon that pairs well with Tiger Snake Canyon v3a1 . It does not require wetsuit but you will get your feet wet. You should also wear full length clothing as the VERY narrow sandstone walls are scratchy.
Approach[edit]
- Walk in along the Tiger Snake Canyon track.
- At approximately -33.22867, 150.24599 turn of the track toward the start of the canyon at -33.22395, 150.24445
