Introduction[edit]
Phoenix Park Falls is a long hike to a singular 100' waterfall near Creede. 4WD HC would shorten the walk.
Approach[edit]
Drive North from Creede on CR503. At the Bachelor Loop Interpretive Sign, go right on CR502 along East Willow Creek. Drive this past the Phoenix Park Mill Site and stop at a junction where the road that continues looks very rough and CR502 switchbacks sharply to the left. Going left on the Bachelor Loop is rougher road.
Either drive the rough road into Phoenix Park or hike from here.
Once at the waterfall, following game trails on the ridge to rappeller's right can gain the top of the falls.
Descent[edit]
R1: 110' from a tree on CL.
Exit[edit]
Return on the approach trail.
