Introduction

A good option for beginners to practice rigging or for something to do when all other canyons in the area are off limits due to flooding. Quick and easy. Close to town.

Approach

Can be done without a shuttle by using a taxi. Take faint use trail from roadside down to the drainage. Beware of several barbed wire crossings and extremely spiky plant with spikes that if grabbed will easily cut through gloves and skin.

Descent

The first rappel is at 840 feet in elevation. The technical section drops 200 feet in elevation and has 7 low angle rappels.
