Comments: My friend's commemt: "This is a creeking route with waterfalls" We spent 4:50 in the canyon. Over 3hrs of this was creeking, boulder hopping, DCing minor obstacles, etc, plus an additional 30-40min exit hike at a very modest pace. While the waterfalls are moderately nice, 2/3 or greater of the time was spent doing less than ideal canyon related activity (for guys that don't mind a little creeking). Hard to believe the hyperbole of "an instant classic."

Note that there are 3 moderate sized falls (and at least 2 smaller falls) to downclimb or bypass (i.e. no anchors) in the middle of the route. At least one I would call at least mildly spicey, and likely a complete no-go for most Class C canyoneers. At least one other would be hairy at higher flows (probably not common, at least mid to late season?) or for those lacking experience to exposure and DCs.

Our time with just 2 people would have been under 5hrs. Add at least 1hr for moderate creeking experience, add at least 2hrs for minimal creeking and downclimbing experience.
