Comments: Anchors in good condition, waterflow was good. No debris in any of the landing zones. Definitely a canyon to run with someone familiar with it. Hike in 2.5 hrs and it was tough jungle bushwhacking. But this one is worth the pain!

Comment: Fantastic Canyon. There is a new approach that took us two hours and 26 minutes from the car to the river. Just asked the locals how to find it, it’s also on Wikiloc. You’ll still need a machete and it is extremely hard to stay on track. The very annoying bushwhack is made up for an incredible couple hundred yards of canyon. The firs rap is a single bolt down Canyon left, I would recommend backing that up with one of the boulders or a meat anchor, it is a short, maybe 7 m rap slightly to down Canyon left where an anchor with two bolts is located. This is the 100 m free hangin rap, absolutely beautiful view, you will be on a ledge and can safely give a belay. From that ledge, you have two options, we opted to use the 2 bolt anchor down the plumb line of the previous rap, this puts you very near the large hydraulic of the 120 m waterfall, you can rap into the water, this would be quite dangerous, we opted to go slightly rapellers right where you are completely out of danger. The other option to escape the ledge can be found on the Toros Canyon website, on the large ledge after the hundred meter repel, you can walk down canyon left to a small spring where the first decent team repelled. Next, you’ll encounter large hydraulic, which originally was passed by a jump, however, two days ago, there was a lot of trees there, making the jump impossible. We then repelled off of a single bolt and enteres water safely downstream of the hydraulic. Next is a very fun five bolt tension traverse where you will install a hand line. Please use standard canyon technique, passing the rope through the quick links, and not just using rock climber technique, which would expose a follower to a nasty, pendulum fall, as you have to traverse on very slippery moss. Then reach a anchor station, first person should repel down to a extremely convenient boulder, and this should be a very strong swimmer who will jump and swim out of the hydraulic. And then they can set up, either a meat anchor guided rap, or make a natural anchor on one of the boulders for a guided rap, so the rest the team can safely avoid the hydraulic
