Comments: Bearwater is fun. Lots of downclimbs with a few rappels and some creativity needed for rigging rappels for questionable downclimbs. Bearwater is an easy canyon with enough to keep a team interested. Nothing stood out as amazing, but it's a solid 2* canyon with the benefit of an old road exit that is much easier for the return than Bull Draw or Snake Drop. It makes a nice combo with Kingsnake for a full day out.
The 4 hour time started from the parking, included bashing through the upper reaches of the drainage (not recommended) and stopping the clock at the top of Kingsnake.
